Relatively small, the Astra 300 was manufactured by Astra-Unceta y Cia SA and Esperanza y Unceta. It fired the 7.65 x 17 mm SR cartridge using a blowback/single firing system and weighed 623.69 grams (22 oz.).
History[]
The Astra 300 saw most of its service with the Luftwaffe, as it was a compact and reliable handgun. It was also used by other German units in Europe throughout the World War II. Approximately 85,390 Astra 300's were made for the German military from 1941 to 1945.
