The Astra 400 was a pistol manufactured in Spain for German Wehrmacht during World War II.

Basically the same design as the Astra 300, the Astra 400 featured a longer barrel and fired the larger 9x23 mm Largo cartridge.
History[]
Over 6,000 Astra 400 saw service throughout the Wehrmacht, in 1941. Due to technical complications, the Astra 400 was not as common as the Astra 300, it's smaller predecessor. Manufacturing by Astra-Unceta y Cia SA lasted only for two years.
