The Fubuki-class destroyer was a class of twenty-four destroyers that were used by Japan during World War II. They were considered the world's first modern destroyers at the time of their construction in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Each ship required a crew of 219, and was armed with six 5 inch (127 mm) main guns, two 13 mm machine guns, nine torpedo tubes, and eighteen depth charges.
