HMS Warspite was Queen Elizabeth-class battleship built in 1915 and retired from the Royal Navy service in 1947. She was eventually sold for scrap in the 1950's. She saw extensive service during World War II in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean with the Royal Navy.
