The Juneau-class of cruisers were three light cruisers produced by the United States Navy after the end of World War II. These ships were a redesign of the Atlanta-class, changes being the removal of all anti-submarine armament and improvements to watertight integrity and visibility from the command areas. None of the ships saw combat in World War II, but participated in the Korean War shortly after, engaging North Korean naval units and conducting shore bombardments of the Korean Peninsula.
