The M1895 Nagant, or simply Nagant for short, was a revolver that was used by the Soviet Union during World War II.
Description[]
The M1895 could fire the 7.62x38mmR Cartridge at an effective range of up to 50 meters. The weapon had capacity for seven rounds and was notable for having a gas sealed cylinder that made use of all the gas created while firing.[1] This can be compared to other revolvers that have gas escape through the gap between the cylinder and barrel. Therefore, because of the sealed cylinder, the Nagant could fitted with a suppressor.[2]
