Dudley Thomas Cazzamali better known as Steve Cazzy, was an Italian soldier who fought for Australia in world war II.

Steve was 17 when he signed up for the war, he originally lied about his age claiming to be 19.
Steve was an Italian soldier born in Australia, in 1919 his mother and father came in on a boat while Steve's mom was pregnant from italy. At the time the second world was started, Italy was Australia's enemy. With an Italian surname, Steve couldn't go to the war! He shortened his surname to Cazzy to make him sound more Australian so the Italians didn't think he was betraying them. Steve spoke one of the Australian made up languages, what he called pidgin english. You take a normal word, put the first letter at the end and add an 'a'.
Love life[]
During the world war, Steve met a woman named Pauline who was a nurse. They soon fell in love and would get married when the war ended.
Family[]
Steve would be a brother, a dad, a son, a grandfather, a great grandfather, a brother in law, a uncle and a husband.
His only known family at the moment would be his wife Pauline.
Death[]
In 1995, Steve would pass away at age 75. His wife remained until 2019 when she passed away at 96.
