Luftwaffe disbanded[]
Could we get a citation for that? Maybe it was disbanded and than recreated at a later date, but the Luftwaffe is still in existence.

- Well, there are different Luftwaffes because Luftwaffe basicly is saying airforce in German. Just check Wikipedia. The one that I posted about is the WWII one that like posted was disbanded in 1945 but, i'm glad that you brought that up. I hope that clears things up and if not please reply. - I'm going to change it to demilitarized for now, unless something better comes up at a future date. I know we don't have a policy on this (which we should write), but Wikipedia really isn't a good source. In fact, citing Wikipedia will completely bar us from our goal of becoming a website for WWII historians. Another good citing rule for us to use is to never cite ourselves; that is to never cite one article in another article. I would also recommend against citing other wikis, though they can still be useful if they cite their sources well. Internet sources can be fine to cite, though they must be verified as reputable very strictly; I think I should start a review process, as well as a process of certifying other users to take part in it.

- I know wikipedia isn't the best but, I haven't found a main source of imformation other than it. Anyway I don't solely use wikipedia I mainly use it to tell me specifications for say weapons which I then cross reference with other sites. If you have any suggestion for a new main reference please tell me. Fargo84 13:39, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia can certainly be usable, but we just shouldn't ever cite it. We can, and I encourage this, use it as a place to find information, see what links it references, and what works it cites; than we can go to those sources and use those and cite them in the article. Wikipedia is useful, but not for actually citing as a source.
- Barnes and Noble often has inexpensive military books which are very catalog oriented in their bargain section. If you already have any books on WWII, those will certainly be accepted.
