The Worcester-class of cruisers were two cruisers built by the United States Navy during the end of World War II and never saw combat in the war, serving the country in peacetime during the early years of the Cold War. Out of the ten ships planned, only two were built, and only four were named. When the ships were decommissioned in 1958, they were the last conventional light cruisers in the fleet, and the class was one of the last all-gun cruisers produced by the United States.
