This page documents an official policy on World War II Wiki. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the discussion page to propose changes to this policy. |
This policy is not only for those who edit pages, but also for viewers. The fundamental idea is that editors should try to have the best grammar possible and viewers should fix any errors they see. To avoid conflicts, the World War II Wiki uses American English. It is not required for editors to have perfect grammar, but there is a point where grammar and spelling like what is shown below is not allowed:
Examples of unacceptable grammar: anser, amasing
The Grammar Policy strongly encourages users and viewers to do their part and fix mistakes. It also includes bad format that does not follow the Manual of Style.
